What it won't do
• Extreme angles and occlusion.
A face turned past roughly 45 degrees, or half-hidden by a hand, hair or a microphone, will come back soft or wrong. Frontal-to-frontal is where the quality lives.

A flash-lit source face going into a candlelit scene is a hard ask — the re-lighting is good, not magic. Pick a source photo shot in similar light and the result improves more than any setting will.

Our rules are simpler than the law: your own photos, or photos you have the right to use, no public figures, no minors.
